To give you an idea how much I like this song, I chose it to play on the home page of the first website I started over two years ago - www.mossyspring.com. It is a different version of the same song. This site was developed as an extension of my love for Mossy Springs and the great atmosphere and outdoor activities it has provided me all of my life. It sets in the middle of a 3600 acre farm down in the Ozarks of Missouri, about 120 miles southwest of St. Louis. I am by for not rich, I just happen to have been born into a family that was part of the Mossy Spring (cabin was built in 1904) ownership. There are two other families associated with Mossy, which probably means about hundred or so people who enjoy Mossy each year. With winter coming on, I will undoubtedly spend a few winter weekends at the cabin around the old wood stove or fireplace by myself or with a friend enjoying some "Old-Time" music and doing a little jamin' with it.

The MP3 file should start playing automatically after a couple minutes depending on your connection speed. If it shouldn't and you would just like to download it right click here and than save to wherever you designate.

I'm using photos of the Reeltime Travelers with these eight 1930's recordings because I feel that this group does a great job of representing these earlier generation musicians.
