I've been hesitant to post this interview because I felt like I didn't do it nearly as well as I wanted to. This was the first time I've ever done an interview and to do it with someone who has been about my biggest hero most of my life made me a bit nervous. I also was not pleased that the microphone picked up the rumble of the air conditioning on the bus however. that said, I think it is still worth it to hear Earl answer a few questions at this stage in his career. I believe Earl is 82 and to see him still out at a festival performing, is really inspiring. It is and always will be an honor to get to see first generation bluegrass musicians on the stage at Bean Blossom.
